Reading screener output
Start with the buys, code P. Code P is a purchase on the open market or in a private deal, and it is the one code where the insider chose to buy. Sales are harder to read. Diversification, tax bills and Rule 10b5-1 plans all produce code S rows that say little about what the seller thinks of the price. How to read insider buying
